I am trying to learn Italian more or less as a beginner, but my knowledge of French and Spanish means that I understand far more than I can say! So I want to practise speaking and conversing with a native. I am a very sympathetic listener and practised at teaching languages. I feel that I can hold a conversation on most topics!
