I was an Italian/English translator (+some French/Spanish).I just walked the Portuguese caminho from Lisbon (unfortunately without my wife as she has still not retired!). I was a maths teacher until a few weeks ago, now retired. I look for and collect Roman pottery and fossils. I like cooking and preserving the mushrooms, wild foods, seafood I find. I mountain walk and camp (most years in Wales and the Sierra Nevada in Southern Spain). I have 4 500 books
