: Hello, I am Carl, 41years old, native English speaker. I am learning Bulgarian after some recent trips to Sofia & Varna and will be returning to Sofia early 2026. I picked up a few phrases and greetings but would like to really establish a friendly exchange several times a week with courteous greetings, what we've been up, plans with more casual conversation than the exchanges you would find in learning books. I prefer to chat via whatsapp as I can more easily access the Cyrillic keyboard here.
Aficiones: Cooking, live music, guitars, travel, whisky.

: I'm planning to move to Spain with my bestfriend, once we apply and receive our working holiday visas. I've been trying to learn and practice Spanish by myself on the language app, duo lingo. I'm starting to learn lots of words and some phrases but I am only at beginner level... or whatever level is below beginner :) I am so excited to move to Spain and connect with new people and learn the language on the way, but I'd like to have a better grasp on speaking and understanding Spanish.

: Bonjour! I'm looking for someone to practice conversational French with - I love the language and have been struggling to learn on and off by myself for years. I'm making it a priority now as we're looking to move out to France soon. I'm also mother to a one year old, which makes it all a bit more challenging... but I'm pretty determined and I guess we can both learn together! Looking to chat, help others to practice their English - and hopefully make some friends along the way :)
