: I have been trying to learn French by teaching myself using various online resources, including you tube, Pinterest charts, other programs such as duolingo, and I took French for two years many years ago. The problem is that I don't get a chance to use or practice it. Also, even though I can speak A little french, I can't understand hardly anything that I hear in French. It is always so fast that I can't process it quickly enough to respond appropriately. I get very nervous forget everything.
