: I have been trying to learn Spanish off and on for several years because it is so prevalent in the area where I live. It would also be helpful at my job. I recently started up again using Duolingo and have practiced for 140 days in a row now. I'm learning a lot but it's challenging to really understand and retain the information when I am unable to actually use it in a conversation.
