Descrição: I'm a retired former United States government employee, who also was a member of my town's City Council for seven years. I originally studied French for about 7 years when I was in junior high and high school. After making a few trips to France when I was in my 20's, my French conversation improved somewhat, but I would like to be able to do more than simply be a competent tourist on my next trip to France. I would love to talk with someone who is looking for the same thing with English.

: I am a native English speaker, lawyer and author. I studied Russian language and literature at Columbia College and Trinity College Dublin where I read short stories by Gogol, Pushkin, Chekov, etc. in the original; also visited Moscow and St. Petersburg in 1988. Unfortunately, I no longer understand the spoken language and can just barely read it. I would love to speak to someone who will be patient with my terrible Russian and in return I will help with your English.

: Hi, I'm looking to find an exchange partner from Turkiye who needs English practice. I have lived and visited many countries around the world. I love learning about other people's lives and cultures, so there's always something to talk about! I have visited Turkiye for about one and a half months, two times. I have Turkish friends but unfortunately they are used to speaking English with me. :) Definitely not looking for romance or anything other than friendship and chatting/facetiming. :)

: I am studying Spanish and have been for many years now, and while I am still in school for it and have weekly practice, it is a linguistic course and doesn’t give me the immersive conversation practice I feel I need to keep advancing. I am also fluent in ASL but have not been able to practice it much and would like to be able to do that as well. Hoping to have some interesting conversations and improve my Spanish speaking and/ or ASL signing abilities. Looking forward!
