I can understand mostly as I find it similar to Spanish but i struggle loosing the fear of speaking it and expressing well being and personal pronouns. I tend to "Spanishisize" Italian words or confuse words like "embarazada" with being pregnant instead of being embarrassed. LOL! Help!
